Juneau Ice Field

Xq us queixeu de telefonica!]

Mooolt maku, ben cuidat i net!

Ah ... N'hem dinat i sopat :)

[The worst is tht we don't know when you will read this post, as it seems that the whole Juneau (remember, Alaska's capital, 30K inhabitants) is under an Internet blackout ... don't complain then about your local ISP! :D ]

This is Cesc writing again ... your loyal reporter. After yesterday's long walk, today has been rather relaxed (we even took a nap in the car :D ).

In the morning we took a helicopter ride, 45 minutes, over Juneau's Ice Field. It is the mountanouis area which generates all the glaciars in the area (for example, yesterdays Mendenhall). The helicopter even lands on one such glaciar "tongue" and you can walk for 15 minutes around ... amazing!

In the afternoon we took a relaxed walk in the rainforest around Juneau ... very green, very nice.

Oh ... and at night ... "King Crab" legs. Delicious!
